TORI AMOS W/ BEN FOLDS GIVE FANS A "LOTTAPIANOS"
Epic Records is pleased to announce that Tori Amos, with the help of Ben Folds, will kick off this summer's Lottapianos Tour 2003 on July 26th in Redmond, WA.
This stint marks the continuation of Tori's worldwide tour in support of her Gold certified Epic Records debut, Scarlet's Walk. Over the last seven months, Amos, along with long-time collaborators Jon Evans (bass) and Matt Chamberlin (drums), have mesmerized thousands with their intimately charged performances of songs new and old; the critics have responded:
"... if there ever was a performance aimed at pleasing the fans, this was it."
New York Post - 11/02/02
"Amos' performance was as highly choreographed as a Russian ballet and just as awe-inspiring."
Sioux City Journal - 03/31/03
"A surreal fantasy, Amos in concert is a divine experience to the crowds who come to listen."
Ventura County Star - 04/24
Speaking of unique pairings, Tori has teamed up with groundbreaking German producer/DJ Timo Maas, who has worked on more than 85 productions in the last three years, to create a club remix of "Don't Make Me Come to Vegas." The original version of this track can be found on Scarlet's Walk -- the remix can soon be heard at clubs across the country.

Label mate Ben Folds well known for his powerful live performances, will showcase material from his 2002 Ben Folds Live solo album and from all seven of his albums to date.
"Ben Folds weaves enchantment with two hands and a piano.."
New York Post - 01/11/03
"His lyrics are so articulate, and they're bitter and funny, too."
New York Daily News - 01/7/03
"Folds brings his listeners to vibrant musical life."
San Francisco Examiner - 10/22/02
Folds made his mark on the public consciousness as the leader of the Chapel Hill, NC trio Ben Folds Five. The group's 1997 Epic debut, the platinum-plus Whatever and Ever Amen and 1999's The Unauthorized Biography of Reinhold Messner exposed millions to Ben's quirky pop sensibility.
Ben has also recently contributed the song "Smoke" to the 11 song companion CD accompanying British wordsmith Nick Hornby's (High Fidelity, About a Boy) newest collection of essays, entitled Songbook . If that's not enough, Ben Folds has also teamed up with a couple of other Bens (Kweller and Lee) for the forthcoming release of an EP aptly titled The Bens and a tour of Australia back in March. Folds is also hard at work writing and recording songs for his second solo LP, scheduled for release in early 2004.
