DJ (Bonnie): Would you like to play something live?
Tori: Yeah, I don't know who's coming yet, but... she's gonna show up.
Tori performs She's Leaving Home
DJ: That was great, thank you so much. Can we talk you into another song?
Tori: Yeah.
DJ: Oh, boy. So, the piano, the piano, she must be with you today
Tori: She's with me. When I play a piano for the first time, it's like... you're kind of like two girls in the bathroom for the first time showing each other your lipstick.
DJ: [laughs]
Tori: You go, here's my color, and here's my color, and you start... [plays a few notes] I'm playing like, my favorite songs. These are the ones that made me want to show my heart. This is my favorite that Joni ever did.
Tori performs A Case of You
DJ: Now, that was just beautiful. I don't want to push or anything but, you know, if you're having a good time and you want to play something else, it's ok with us.
Tori: Oh, well ok, ok. I'll do one more.
DJ: Oh, boy.
Tori: One more for the girls in the back. Ok um, this is something I put on a b-side. She almost got on a record, but something happened at the last minute in mixing. It was like, she was gonna go on, and it was all decided, and I don't know, she went out for pizza and never came back. You know how that happens. Anyway, I kinda love this girl, but she's called "Honey".
Tori performs Honey
DJ: I think you ought to go back to the pizza parlor and get that girl.
Tori: [laughs]
DJ: And rope her in and put her out on something. That was great, too.
Tori: Thanks, Bonnie.
DJ: Thank you so much. Are you already um, thinking and writing for your next record?
Tori: Yeah.
